Can you use silk leaves instead of real leaves to make chocolate leaves?

I want to use melting chocolate to make chocolate maple leaves but all our leaves are wet and gross. Will the chocolate come off of silk leaves like it does the real leaves?|||I would not use silk leaves. Just dry off the real leaves and use the back of those.
