I'm setting up a vivarium for a royal python and wondered whether the silk plants designed to go in an aquarium are safe to use, as they're a bit cheaper than the ones sold specifically for reptiles.|||don't see why not, people use them in lizard tanks (i do)
providing there's no sharp plastic bits i'm sure it will be fine :)|||Sure.
For other animals I might avoid them, especially if there are little strings hanging off the edges of the plants.
You can probably get cheap fake plants at the local Dollar store or Goodwill.
