How do i clean a silk persian carpet?

i just had one cleaned and got snowed for $700. I'm sure I can clean the second one myself. It's 4' x 6', silk weave with cotton base %26amp; fringe, vegetable dye, and seriously dirty.|||call the rug doctor.. Dont try any of that self rug cleaning stuff... a silk persian carpet is worth the expeert advice and fixer upper... Good luck Grant M in Pennsylvania|||did you get it cleaned?
