How can I hem trousers with a 50% silk / terylene material mix?

Ive just aquired an Armani suit and need to turn up the trousers. The material is 50% terylene and 50% silk.

I was thinking of using iron-on hem tape, but am hesitant to do so because of the required high temperatures.

Any advice appreciated. - thanks|||wonder web is the b*****s its great stuff but if your worried about the heat the put a towel ontop of the trousers as this will take most of the heat away,|||If the suit is so expensive perhaps you would be better off taking it to a dry cleaners where they do alterations professionally|||use wonder web you just iron it on (also called hemming web)|||If you use wondaweb hemming tape use a slightly damp clean t.towel on the trousers as you hem them. .|||I would get this job done professionally. There's probably a clothes repair shop in your local town that will do it for you. This isn't normally an expensive service either so if the suit is Armani it will be well worth it.
