Can I put silk plants in a Goldfish aquarium?

I want to get either a 20 or 30 gallon tank and get one or two Ryukin Goldfishes. I know they like to eat real plants, but I don't like plastic plants. Also I would be worried about the plastic ripping their fins. Can I put silk plants in there instead? I have silk in my Betta tank and they look really nice. But would the Goldfish try to eat the silk plants too?|||They might try, but they shouldn't be able to bite through the silk.

Silk plants should be fine.|||as long as they don't have metal inside the stems the silk are ok.

plastic plants are fine too, I use them all the time.
