How do I clean a silk blouse?

I just bought a silk blouse, and I know that you can't put it in the washing machine. Are there any good ways to clean silk?|||I hand wash mine in the sink with cold water with baby shampoo.. lay it flat on a soft towel, roll up the towel and squeeze the towel (with the blouse inside) unroll the towel, then place the shirt flat somewhere to line dry.. then gently iron it afterwards if it needs it.|||Silk is usually a dry clean only fabric. You could try the home dry cleaning products that work in the dryer.|||Most tags advise to dry clean; do that when it needs it. If you do it too often, like anything else, the threads will begin to wear. However, dry cleaning isn't necessarily sure to work if you have liquid stains. At this point, you would need to hand wash with a delicate detergent such as woolite or baby detergent like Ivory. This "water washing" will mitigate any the severity of the stains on your silk. Only use the dryer method if you want it to smell better, it won't necessarily get it clean.|||Silk really needs to be dry cleaned. I hand washed a silk blouse in Woolite. Laid it flat to dry and ironed with a cool iron. It was okay, but it lost that new appearance.|||Hand wash with cold water and Woolite, or something similar. Iron. Don't dry clean too often, but sometimes isn't bad.|||check for woolite at the stores or hand wash in cool water with some light dish soap see the tag for wash details|||Try hand washing it with some Woolite then lay flat to dry.

If you really love the blouse-take it to the cleaners.
