What are silk flowers and where can i buy them?

What exactly are silk flowers? Are they the flowers that's made of cloth? I haven't been able to find any at the mall where my friend told me to look. All I've seen are plastic ones and i need them right away for a party.|||They're fake flowers made of fabric that's typically made of a variant of silk. |||Silk flowers in general terms are referring to any flowers or plant that is made of fabrics.


Some of these plants are made of silk although really costly. Others are made of polyester, cotton, ribbons, satin, velvet, lace, or any fabric. Some are made of wires, pipe cleaners, beads, feathers, yarn etc. Some of the more harder species with tough leaves are made of plastic and or leather. The stems are wires and wooden sticks covered in green floral tape.


You find silk flowers in many stores like K-Mart, Meijers, Wal-Mart,Dollar Tree, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Big Lots, or any craft or florist supply store.


Joann's , Micheals, Hobby Lobby all sell silk flowers|||They're basically fake flowers. If you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, ask the floral department. They should be able to help ya out. And the flowers are usually on sale, and we have a bigger selection than Michael's haha :)|||they are fabric flowers that look really nice. you can find them at any hobby/ craft store like michaels, pat catans. occassionally at some drug stores and grocery stores thar have a floral shop inside.|||It is on amazon--
