How did the Silk Road affect the culture of the areas it passed through?

Im looking for examples of how the Silk Road infuenced the cultures of the areas it passed through. PLEASE HELP|||I suppose the goods that the traders brought and traded along the way, made it become a part of the culture, like silk became traditional in blablabla...or it modernized their culture??? I have no idea. Sorry.
