Here is what happen: I have duvet made of silk that you're only supposed to dry-clean, not wash like I did. After washing it the silk became scratchy and very unpleasant to touch. Any ideas how to make it soft and "silky" again?
Thanks in advance.|||Rewash the duvet with a bit of liquid fabric softener, then put it in the dryer on the "air dry" cycle. As long as absolutely no heat is used, the silk will be fine.
I do this with all my silk products, including my king-sized quilted silk bedspread.
Good luck!
