How do you get sugar syrup stains from silk?

My mum has an expensive silk dress that she wore to a party. At the party sugar syrup accidently fell on her dress. How can she get out the stain without discolouring or permanently staining or fading.

Tell them everything!|||Soak the stained area only in water with a little detergent( Tide), with light hands just rub to and fro on the stained area, wash with water and dry with a hair dryer immediately{only the stained area}. Then dry clean it.|||Since the dress is Silk,DON'T try to do it yourself. Take it to the cleaners and let the professionals handle it.
