I've just bought a pair of silk lamp shades on sale at the Potterybarn and their both a little dirty. I need to know how to clean them.
Please help.|||Get a paper bag big enough for one to fit in and put about 1 cup of regular salt in there with it. Now, close the bag and shake vigorously for about a minute. That thing should be dust free. The salt is abrasive enough to get the dirt off without damaging the fabric. I even use it on my silk flower boquet from my wedding and it still looks new 10 years later.|||This is not a joke.... You might want to take them to a dry cleaner.
