How do you remove a grease stain from silk?

I am trying to remove a grease stain from my shirt which is 60% silk, 40% cotton.|||For grease or oil, the Sugar Paste will probably work the best for you, and in addition you won't have to scrub your silk.

Try Sugar Paste: Sugar Paste, made of sugar and water, and allowed to sit for one hour, then wash as usual. This will usually remove anything!!

If sugar paste doesn't work try, or you'd rather try something else: One cup of Tide with two cups of White Vinegar. Blot the stain well with this solution, rinse with cold water, blot again, and launder as usual.

Hope this helps!|||I sprinkle baby powder on the oil stains a few days before i have then cleaned. The powder absorbs the oil, does not leave any boundary markings, and will not damage the material|||Gently wash in cold water and Dawn dish detergent (it has

a degreaser component) It should come out, but be careful

not to rub too hard because you can cause a worn spot on

the silk, so be careful.
